Shantha College of Education For women is situated in Cholapuram, Thirupathur Road, Sivagangai run by the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of the Presentation of Blessed Virgin Mary (FSPM) from August 2013. The college comes under the same management of St.Justin Hr.Sec School, St.Justins Mat.Hr.Sec School and St. Justin Arts and Science College, Sivagangai.

B.Ed programme is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary (Classes VI-VIII), secondary level (Classes IX-X) and senior secondary level (Classes XI-XII).
The B.Ed programme shall be a duration of two academic years which can be completed in a maximum of three years from which includes three broad curricular areas: Perspective in Education, Curriculum and Pedagogy studies and school Internship Training Program (ITP).
